Staff make nervous children feel secure through patience and genuine care, turning reluctant starts into eager morning arrivals. Daily updates keep parents informed; meals are healthy and thoughtfully prepared; activities span kindy programs, swimming lessons, French language, and music, with outdoor spaces and excursions tailored to each age group.
Parents report their children are thriving in a calm, clean environment where staff know kids by name and manage medical emergencies with confidence. Directors Mikala and Darcie, owner Michael, and lead educators (Taylor, Alanna, Angelica, Chelsea, Maddy, Makayla, Shannon, Ash, Madi) earn consistent praise for warmth and communication through daily app updates and manual records that keep staff present with children. Montessori approach and age-separated classrooms support early learning milestones; families mention strong transitions between rooms. Some initial staff changes at opening are viewed as managed well. Staff appear genuinely invested, greeting children by name at arrival and maintaining open-door policies with parents who describe feeling supported through challenging periods.
The centre earns strong praise from most families for warm, knowledgeable educators, rich programs (beach kindy, STEM, French, perceptual motor), and genuine community spirit. Parents report children thrive emotionally and academically, and staff remember each child by name. However, serious safeguarding and hygiene failures have left some families deeply troubled. Reports include a kindy teacher using her foot to move children's heads during rest time, months-long toilet paper shortages in child bathrooms, expired sunscreen left accessible, and neglect of a child's basic care needs. These incidents suggest gaps in supervision and duty-of-care practices that merit careful consideration.
